Very tempting Stuart, right colour as well.
No point in telling me! You’ll have to give Ian a ring. (It’s only about 75 miles away too.)
Hi Bob,
Its a very nice bike and its been well cared for. I see lots of bikes this age and this one is exceptional. I’ve got all the paperwork for it from buying it new to its latest MOT of a couple of weeks ago.
IF you’re looking for a good Wing this is the one to take a look at.
I’m only about 1.5hrs from you – junction33 M1 Rotherham South Yorkshire.
Call me if you’d like to arrange a viewing.
I’m out Sunday 09-17.00 riding.
Cheers,
Ian.
Now that you’re on the way to becoming Honda Broom, the new GoldWing Dealer taking over Cusworth’s territory and threatening to pinch Appleyard’s market share, I take it there will be demonstration ride facilities, Denise will be serving espresso coffees and biscotti on arrival and there will be at least a three month warranty on all used bike sales? This all looks very promising!
Hi Stuart,
NO I am not getting in to Goldwing sales and have no intention of making this a regular thing. I’m not sure we could rustle up an espresso but if you dont mind having a cup of Nescafe instant we might be able to mange that.
I said I would help sell this bike because I know its history and how good it is, thats all.
I’m sure the next owner will be just as happy with it as the first one is because it is a very nice example and there arent many bikes around that are in such good condition.
Appleyards, B&M etc etc have nothing to fear from ‘Broom Honda’
Only teasing, honest! And your new Avtar picture is much more flattering than the jailbird image you sent me, well done.
I can confirm all that Ian has said, I have known the bike for a long time now and it is an excellent bike.
The avatar pic is me at age 5, it was my first school photo.
Gosh, its over half a century old !!
Time flies when you’re enjoying yourself
Cheers,
Ian.
When I told you how to get yourself an avtar picture I did explain that it would automatically include itself of almost any site on which you post. While this may work well for you regular visits to teddys4wingers.com, posting with that picture on the GWOCGB Forum might get your leg pulled. In those days didn’t they dress boys as girls during the early part of their lives? It’s not quite clear from the picture whether you were wearing a frock!
I cant ever remember being dressed as a girl though nothing which you do over ‘that side’ of the hills surprises me these days

If you could see the rest of my pic you’d be able to see I was wearing a nice v neck sweater, shirt and a bow tie, aaaahh
Boys are boys and men are men this side o t’hills
Ian.
And there was me thinking you still bought your anoraks and tank tops in boys sizes!
Unfortunately I’ve been in the ‘larger mens’ sizes for a few years now
Anyway, enough banter,
Thankyou for posting this bike on your Blog.
Its now been sold to a dealer – B&M Honda.
Part ex and finance available, please contact them direct.
Cheers,
Ian.
