Yes, you can mix tyres as long as they are both radials. If you send me your picture as an attachement to an email to stuart@gl1800.org.uk I'll look at publishing it.

Can I post a photograph? I wish you could see the Bridgestone on the front of my bike. It has a raised square profile in the middle all the way round. I would love to fit Cobras but I only replaced the back tyre 3000 mikes ago and it is still in good condition.
Can I fit an Avon Cobra on the front and leave the Bridgestone on the back until I've had my moneysworth out of it?

I have just fitted a Dunlop D250 rear and a D251L front and they are great, no woblle as with the Elite and the front is super sticky so I doubt it will last long.

After numerous sets of Bridgestones, one set of which only lasted 3k miles, swore I'd never have them again, changed to Dunlop Elite 3's and been perfectly happy, although they do take longer to 'warm up' done over 7k on them now and still they handle like new no cupping problems whatsoever, I'd be very loathe to change to anything else.
